Oxbow Nature Study Area is located on the Truckee River, one mile west of downtown Reno, and is administered by the Nevada Department of Wildlife and the City of Reno. The area has a 1/3 mile-long wheelchair accessible trail and quiet viewing locations with benches and wooden platforms along the river and pools. This urban nature center is home to birds, muledeer, muskrat, and Rainbow trout. |
